The company or organization that accepts the specified skilled foreigner for employment is called a specified skilled foreigner affiliated organization, and must provide support for the workplace, daily life, and social activities of the specified skilled foreigner.
Support for the specified skilled foreign nationals requires specialized knowledge in documentation, etc., and it is sometimes difficult for the specified skilled foreign nationals to receive such support on their own. Therefore, registered support organizations are commissioned by organizations affiliated with specified skilled workers to prepare and implement support plans for specified skilled foreigners on their behalf.
Obligations of Registered Support Agencies
Registered support organizations are obliged to
(1) Provide foreigners with guidance on daily life prior to their arrival in Japan.
The guidance must be provided in a language that the foreigner can understand.
(2) To meet the foreigner at the airport upon his/her arrival in Japan and see him/her off at the airport upon his/her return to Japan.
(3) Provide guarantors for foreign nationals and other support to secure housing for foreign nationals.
(4) Provide orientation for foreigners on daily life during their stay in Japan.

(10) Conduct periodic interviews with foreign nationals and notify administrative agencies.
